American Shingle Vernacular

This all-new 7,000 sf summer residence was designed for a family that spends its summers in a sailing and beach community of Cape Cod.  The American shingle style is a vernacular classic for New England summer communities.  The design includes details that reinforce the house’s connection to its immediate woodland environment and the traditions of Cape Cod wooden ship building.
