Pool and Recreation Complex

For this project we were asked to design a recreational complex in a style sympathetic to the neo-French Renaissance style of the owners’ existing main house. At 23,500 sf, the complex accommodates a pool, spa, squash court, meeting room, staff offices and other requested amenities. We took advantage of the estate’s varied topography to tuck a sizable building footprint and program into a sloped, wooded hillside. In this way, the true size of the building is obscured, and allows the building to read as a graceful, secondary building on the landscaped property.
